Defensoid 1.08 Released

Fixed a bug introduced by fixing that other bug involving radiation towers...

A radiation tower in combination with a slowing tile would stop Oids completely.  Now the slowest an Oid can go is 25% of their movement speed.

  1. Darn, I missed it. That would have been a fun bug to play with. ;)

  2. I would love to be able to buy the radiation tiles that are on some levels as a weapon. It would be really helpful on the unlimited setting.

  3. Thanks for the suggestion. You might notice that those tiles are less effective in higher waves, because their damage is fixed. Not to say they couldn't be purchased and upgraded as a normal tower...

  5. I agree that this would be a great feature to have. That large a change is not going to be implemented anytime soon though. It is taking me forever just to implement global high scores...not because its difficult, but because I just have so much else to do. Thankfully, around mid-December I anticipate finally getting some time to work on Defensoid. Stay tuned...

  8. Hello.
I love this game, I bought it and I've played it a lot. Today I've seen this: http://www.hexdefense.com/

It's very obviously the same game, without remorse. Are you with them? If not, did you allow it?

  9. @evilteq - I discovered HexDefense myself about four days ago. I was actually fairly impressed with the game. I think it has great audio-visual impact. Both of our games take inspiration from other successful tower defense games...I don't really think HexDefense is a copy of Defensoid. Different mechanics, different engine, maps, etc. Definitely the same style of game however.

I believe I will post more about this topic with the next update (coming hopefully by Monday).

  10. Our spool of filament saved getting tangled and, as a result, the printed object would often find yourself in giant number} of plastic filament and disappointment. Because 3D printing takes a long time|a CNC machining very long time}, it isn't the type of activity most people can actively watch. Ray and I made some extent to examine in on our Pokédex every 30 minutes or so.
